Today I observed the quad area in the middle of all the academic buildings. Around 3:00pm to 3:30pm there were many different activities taking place in this area. Many students were walking around just to go to their classes while others were outside for some fresh air and entertainment. A few students played Frisbee in the quad while some others passes around a football. Some students were studying or reading under the shade of a couple trees. There were about 10 students sitting at benches around the fountain talking to each other and hanging out. There were way over 50 students that went to or from the bus stop behind Centennial in the time I observed. I think my observations in this area show that there is much variety among college students. For the most part we are the same as in, we all go to classes, we all eat, we all study, we all sleep, etc. What I observed is that students spend their free time differently from each other even if they are in the same area.
